Volunteers

Tyndale Christian School believes that voluntary workers can make a significant contribution to the School. Giving their time and sharing their skills and expertise with others is a blessing we celebrate.

Volunteers have a wide range of interests and abilities that complement School programs, providing a wider range of interactions and experiences for students.

RRHAN-EC FUNDAMENTALS TRAINING FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS

In July 2021, the Department of Education released a new mandatory notification training for those working and volunteering in education settings.

This has become a new requirement for volunteers, and this training replaces the Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RAN-EC) that most Tyndale volunteers will have completed previously.

The new training, and expanded content, reflect changes to legislation. All volunteers are required to complete their RRHAN-EC Fundamentals (Responding to Risks of Abuse, Harm and Neglect – Education and Care) by 31 December 2021 to remain on the Approved Register.

Thank you to many volunteers who have already completed this training and emailed their completion certificate to volunteer@tyndale.sa.edu.au. The training takes approximately 1 hour and is online.
