Tyndale Christian School participates in a variety of sporting events. Your child has the opportunity to be involved in sport at school in a range of ways.
REPRESENTATIVE SPORTS
These three competitions involve a number of different schools competing against each other in a variety of sports. Teams are selected based on ability, sportsmanship and participation:
- SACSA – South Australian Christian Schools Association
- SAPSASA – South Australia Primary Schools Amateur Sports Association
- SSSSA – Secondary School Sport South Australia

WEEKLY SPORTS
These competitions occur at local sports centres outside of school hours. This gives children the opportunity to play sport for their school in a social setting.

HIGH PERFORMANCE ATHLETE PROGRAMME
Our newly established High Performance Athlete Programme provides study and career opportunities whilst high-level sporting opportunities. The programme offers select students in Year 10 to 12 a fully developed programme including advanced athlete training, a specialised facility (Human Performance Centre) and a wide range of sports science SACE subjects.
The Head of Sports, Matt Howard will be the on-site US College Scholarship Manager and work with Physical Education staff in Year 9 to identify suitable candidates. Students in Years 10 to 12 are also welcome to apply.

The Sports Department uses the Team App to communicate all information about sports, tryouts, training, and other information to students and families.
