Meet the Principal

My name is Phil Jones, and I’m the Principal at Tyndale Christian School – Salisbury East.

 

I’ve been at Tyndale for a long time. I started in 1998, and I must admit I didn’t think I would still be here, but I’ve fallen in love with the School and its values. The things we stand for are things that resonate with me.

The Tyndale Christian School vision statement is:

 

‘To provide an excellent, inclusive Christian education that equips our students to serve God and His world.’

 

I love the three pillars of this vision statement:

 

Excellence. It’s something we’re always striving for at Tyndale. We want to be the best that we can be at what we do.

 

Inclusivity. We have so many programs here, and we want to be a School that caters for a wide variety of kids’ needs, be it academic, social or cultural needs. These are things we value highly.

 

Christian. We’re intentionally Christian in all that we do. Our Christian aspect is not just by name, but it underpins everything we do. I really love this aspect of our School.

If you come and have a look around our School and talk to us, you’ll observe a few things:

 

We’re blessed with great facilities. The opportunities, both academically and extracurricular, are vast.

 

We have amazing staff who are passionate about seeing your child flourish.

 

We want your child to feel like they belong. We want to value them for who they are, not for what they can do.

We have both Reception and Year 7 intake, so there are opportunities to get into our School over the course of your child’s journey. We would love to show you around and talk to you about what we could offer you as a family.
